Tortola
Description
Aslantic House sits on a spectacular promontory overlooking on one side Little Bay with its exquisite, intimate half-moon beach. On the other, it rests atop a dramatic cliff overlooking the straits to Guana Island. This private, tranquil, nearly seven acre setting along Tortola’s north Atlantic shoreline is unique in the Caribbean.
The retreat was built by an American family for their personal use and is now being offered to discerning guests at certain selected times of the year. The last dwelling ever designed by William A. Bernoudy and featured in a book dedicated to his architecture, it was recently and exquisitely updated by the well-known Tortola architect, Jon Osman.
Aslantic House AerialAslantic House is a complex of five principal buildings and pavilions, each projecting a subtle East Asian influence and giving onto breathtaking views in nearly every direction. There are five bedrooms (two of which are air-conditioned) and four baths, all of which have been recently renovated and which are housed in four separate buildings.
